MEPCO is a Pakistani power distribution company that serves 13 districts in the province of Punjab. The corporation uses hydroelectric power to generate electricity, which it then distributes to around 34 million people in the area. In 1998, Multan Electric Power Company was founded. NEPRA has granted MEPCO the exclusive right to distribute energy in the service terraces of South Punjab's 13 administrative districts.

On May 14, 1998, Pakistan's government resolved to corporatize the country's energy sector. MEPCO was formed to take over the Multan Area Electricity Board's properties, rights, assets, liabilities, and obligations, as well as the grid stations' transmission lines and supply system. MEPCO is providing energy directly and exclusively to 34 million people in 13 districts of South Punjab after 21 years of operation in 2020.

Multan Electric Supply Company is accepting applications for the positions of Chief Health Safety & Environment Officer, Deputy Manager Demand Forecasting, and Assistant Manager Demand Forecasting.
